This Gerard Manley Hopkins Archive, a free resource for students, scholars and lovers of Hopkins's poetry worldwide, has developed from Lectures and activities of the GM Hopkins annual, international Summer School. The Archive is now the leading world resource for Hopkins scholarship online, receiving no fewer than70,000 visitors per year.
Many users of the Archive come over to (Hopkins's) Monasterevin to attend the week-long celebration of Hopkins's poetry and vision. This is a free, accessible, resource for students, scholars and lovers of Hopkins's poetry worldwide. This Archive has grown from lectures delivered at the annual Hopkins International Literary Festival during the last week of July, in Kildare since 1987.
